vivo will unveil the X90 series in China on November 22, which is expected to consist of three models – vanilla, Pro, and Pro+. The vivo X90 Pro+ will likely have the freshly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC at the helm, while the vanilla model was rumored to come with the Dimensity 9200 chip. Those rumors have turned out to be true since vivo has officially confirmed that the X90 series will be powered by the Dimensity 9200 SoC.
vivo hasn’t explicitly mentioned any model’s name, but it’s safe to say that it’s the X90 that will have the Dimensity 9200 under the hood since the smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench with Android 13 and 12GB RAM. The X90 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Additionally, vivo confirmed that the X90 series will feature the 50MP Sony IMX758 camera. And the picture shared by vivo, having the text “two independent portrait lenses go beyond,” shows the rear side of an X90 smartphone sporting four cameras, with the one in the top-right possibly a periscope unit. vivo hasn’t mentioned the smartphone’s name, but it’s likely the X90 Pro+, and you can see some camera specs written on the right side of the camera island below the LED flash.

A few pictures shared by vivo on its official website previously showed the X90 series in blue, red, and black colors. The red and black models will feature leatherette back panels. Upon close inspection, you can also notice that the black and red-colored smartphones feature periscope units, while the blue-colored phone doesn’t. Its camera island also looks different, and so do the specs written on the right side of the cameras. We believe the blue-colored smartphone is the X90, while the other two are X90 Pro and X90 Pro+.
The X90 will be available in all three colors, though.

That said, all three smartphones will come with ZEISS’ algorithm and T* coating. vivo also confirmed the X90 series will come with the V2 chip.
